Protea King Pink.
Botanical Name: Protea cynaroides.
The King Protea is the most popular variety, having one of the largest flower heads in the protea family. The King Pink Protea produces stunning large pink flowers which can reach up to 30cm in diameter once the plant is established. They are stunning in the garden, on the patio and in flower arrangements. Although not native to Australia, Proteas make a great fit in any native garden.
Plant in a full sun position in well-draining soil. It is tolerant to light frost and suits acid soils.
In ideal conditions, it can grow to H2m x W1.5m.
