Salvia Mystic Spires.
Botanical Name: Salvia longispicata x farinacea.
A sturdy, dark green-leafed plant that is naturally compact, well-branched and very free-flowering. This impressive salvia offers excellent summer garden performance, with a longer flower hold for brighter blue flower colour in the garden. Heat-hardy plants are great for late spring/summer programs.
Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny position.
Quite a drought tolerant once established and is a tough-hardy perennial.
Pinch out spent blooms to keep them blooming and encourage a dense habit.
