Standard Rose ‘The Children’s Rose’ (Meitebros) produces many-petalled blooms in a soft powder pink, accompanied by an intense fragrance. The flowers are usually carried on individual stems, with occasional clusters, creating a neat display that is also well suited to cutting.

This variety is known for producing long-lasting cut flowers and flowering prolifically through spring and autumn. Its robust growth and dense foliage make it a reliable garden performer, while the relatively low number of thorns makes the blooms easier to pick and enjoy.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Water deeply while establishing and during extended dry periods. Feed established roses in late August and again after the main flowering flushes. Mulch in spring and deadhead regularly to encourage continued flowering. Prune the rose head in July, or August in colder and frost-prone areas, and remove any shoots growing from below the graft. Stake securely and check ties as the plant grows.
