Westringia Flat N Fruity - 14cm Pot

Westringia fruticosa ‘Flat’n’Fruity’ is a compact, prostrate form of the much-loved Coastal Rosemary, offering all the toughness of the original in a low, spreading groundcover. Its soft grey-green foliage forms a dense, weed-suppressing carpet, making it ideal for practical, low-maintenance planting.

From spring through autumn, it produces small white flowers that gently dot the foliage and attract bees, butterflies and beneficial insects, adding life to the garden without overwhelming the space.

Extremely hardy and adaptable, Flat’n’Fruity thrives in a wide range of conditions, including coastal exposure, poor soils and dry climates, making it a reliable performer in challenging areas.

Mature size: approximately 10–30cm high × 0.5–2 metres wide

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil. Flat’n’Fruity is highly adaptable and tolerates sandy, loamy and clay soils, as well as saline and poorer conditions.

Water regularly while establishing, then reduce, as it becomes drought tolerant once mature. It will also tolerate light frost and exposed coastal environments.

Very little maintenance is required—an occasional light trim will keep the plant tidy and remove any dead growth if needed.
