Westringia Fruticosa - 20cm Pot

Westringia fruticosa, commonly known as Coastal Rosemary, is a hardy Australian native shrub with dense, fine grey-green foliage and small white flowers that attract birds and other wildlife.

Naturally developing a relaxed, open habit, Coastal Rosemary works beautifully in native, bushland and cottage-style gardens. It also responds very well to pruning and can be clipped into a denser, more formal shape for hedging or structured urban gardens.

Tough and adaptable, its combination of attractive evergreen foliage, wildlife value and ability to handle regular pruning makes it an excellent low-maintenance garden shrub.

Mature size: approximately 2 metres high when left unclipped. Can be maintained smaller with regular pruning.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil.
Water regularly while establishing, after which it is drought tolerant.
Prune lightly throughout the year to maintain a formal shape, or allow it to develop its naturally relaxed habit.
Feed with a slow-release fertiliser in spring if required and mulch annually to help retain soil moisture.
