Westringia Fruticosa Ball - 33cm Pot

Westringia fruticosa, commonly known as Coastal Rosemary, is a hardy Australian native shrub with dense grey-green foliage and small white flowers that appear intermittently throughout the year, with the strongest flowering typically occurring in spring.

This form has been shaped into a neat ball, creating a strong architectural feature for the garden. Its naturally dense growth responds particularly well to regular pruning, allowing the rounded form to be maintained or kept smaller if required.

Tough and adaptable, Westringia tolerates salt spray, coastal winds, poor soils and dry conditions once established. Its combination of resilience and structured form makes it particularly useful in contemporary, coastal, Mediterranean and native-inspired landscapes.

Mature ball size: up to approximately 1.5 metres high × 1.5 metres wide, or smaller with regular pruning.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil.
Full sun will generally encourage better flowering.
Water regularly while establishing, after which it is drought tolerant.
Prune lightly throughout the year to maintain the desired shape and size.
Apply a slow-release fertiliser in spring and mulch annually to help retain soil moisture.
