When you choose hope, anything is possible. When the Eden Outreach team discovered a new red light district in the city, they were shocked at how young the girls looked. From her hiding place behind a car, one of these young women locked eyes with a team member. Enzali had been looking for a job at the bus station when a rickshaw driver said he could employ her as a masseuse. Instead, he took her to a brothel where she was trapped for seven months. We gave her an exit strategy, stealthily wrote our phone number on some ripped paper, and sneaked it into her tiny hand. Two days later, she called from a taxi with another trafficking victim alongside her! They received a welcome pack of new clothes and living essentials, and immediately began trauma counselling for PTSD. While hopelessness thrives in the trafficking hubs where Eden does weekly Outreach, it is also in these places that hope has the most power.

At Eden, we care for the whole person: their physical, emotional, spiritual, economic, and social well-being. Eden trains women and girls in jewellery and macrame making, women who are employed in Eden’s jewellery making earn a full-time wage making the beautiful jewellery that funds their other programs. Your support helps them pursue job training in their area of interest and attain the financial literacy needed to save and invest in their future.

Sterling Silver.

CARE: Sterling silver jewellery is marked with a 925 stamp. Polish sterling silver pieces with a jewelry polishing cloth. If more attention is needed, immerse in a solution of warm water and mild dishwashing liquid and gently hand wash. A soft toothbrush can also be used for more abrasive cleaning when needed. Thoroughly rinse and completely dry the silver before storing, as moisture contributes to tarnishing. Never clean your jewelry in bleach. If the jewelry contains gemstones or pearls, do not submerge the entire piece into the water. Instead, use a cotton swab with mild dishwashing liquid to wash only the silver.
