Grow Better's Organic Seed Raising Mix is a perfect blend for raising seeds of all types. It holds sufficient moisture for rapid germination while allowing excess to drain freely as well as encouraging strong root development and strong leaf production.
Fill trays or boxes and gently firm down the mix, giving a level, smooth surface. Sow seeds thinly and evenly and cover seeds slightly with more mix. Fine seeds are best just pressed into the surface. Gently water with a fine even spray and keep the tray moist but not wet. Add Grow Better Plant Starter to the first watering. When seedlings are large enough with a developed root system, replant into pots filled with Grow Better Terracotta & Tub, or Organic Potting Mix. Then water thoroughly.
