Ornamental Pear Cleveland Select.

Botanical Name: Pyrus calleryana.

A deciduous tree valued for its ornamental shape, Spring blossom and reliable Autumn colour.

A narrow pyramidal-shaped tree with attractive symmetrical branching will grow to a height of 11 metres. Leaves are glossy dark green, changing to orange through to reds and purples in Autumn. Clusters of pretty single white flowers are borne in Spring giving a spectacular display. Suitable for medium-sized gardens and used for driveways and street trees. The narrow habit will suit smaller areas for landscaping. Disease resistant.

- Prefers full sun. Adaptable to most soils.
- Tolerates air pollution.
- Stake tree when young. Mulch to retain soil moisture and control weeds.
- Fertilise during the growing season.
