Smokebush 'Flame'.
Botanical Name: Cotinus coggygria.
A large deciduous shrub, Flame has dark green leaves which turn stunning shades of bright orange, red and yellow in autumn before falling. In summer large panicles of smoke-like dark pink flowers appear.
Plant in full sun in well-drained and worked soil.
Take care to plant the bud union and above the soil level.
Water in well and keep soil moist until the tree is established.
Fertilise when planting and again after the new growth.
