Lime Courtyard (Tahitian).
Botanical Name: Citrus latifolia Lime.
With many gardens now reduced in size our Courtyard Citrus range is perfect for small courtyards and balcony gardens where people want a fruiting shrub. Specifically grown for containers the Lime Courtyard will bear an abundance of green to yellow fruit from mid-autumn to winter. A perfect choice for Aussie Mediterranean or edible gardens. Its compact habit makes it ideal for smaller spaces whilst having the benefit of abundant fruiting. Looks fantastic and combines well with a Laurus ‘Baby Bay’ and Rosemary.
- Easy to grow and maintain, this plant grows best in a well-drained potting mix in a sunny position.
- It is frost, humidity and coastal tolerant.
- Fertilise using small amounts of citrus food, pelletised manure or slow-release fertiliser on a regular basis. We recommend Harry's Citrus Food.
- It can grow to H2.5 x 1.5m. It can be kept to about 1.5 with trimming.
