Pinus Thunbergii Yatsabusa
A very popular form of the "Japanese Black Pine". In spring, white "candles" make a colourful contrast to the dark green mature needles. It is one of the most popular pines for Japanese style gardens. By removing older needles, an interesting branch structure can be revealed. This creates a beautiful specimen in a patio pot, especially when placed in front of a blank wall. It is capable of growing more than 2 metres, but easily control with pruning.
Plant in full sun.
Plant in well-draining soil.
Water well during periods of extended heat.
Can grow to 2m tall.
