DESCRIPTION

Protea Australis Ruby.

Botanical Name: Protea neriifolia.

A stunning compact Protea that displays ruby-red flowers with white and black feathery tips during late winter and spring. Ideal for containers and smaller home gardens, it can be shaped into a low hedge or grown as a feature plant. This Protea also makes a great cut flower. Although not native to Australia, proteas make a great addition to any native garden.

Plant in a full sun position in well-draining soil.
In ideal conditions, it can grow to H1.5m x W1.5m.
