Kiwiberry.
Botanical Name: Actinidia arguta issai
A fast-growing, deciduous, climbing plant. Fragrant white flowers are produced in summer followed by delicious, smooth-skinned, greenish-purple berry-size fruit in mid-autumn. The fruit tastes very similar to the familiar kiwi fruit but even sweeter. Kiwiberry is self-fertile. Best grown with the support of a trellis, fence, or pergola. The fruit tastes similar to Kiwifruit.
Plant in a sunny position with well-drained and well-worked soil.
Water well until established.
Protect from hot winds.
