Calathea Maui Queen.
A rare cultivar of the tropical houseplant commonly known as the Prayer Plant. For those willing to put a little time and effort into its care Maui Queen is a gorgeous, rewarding plant to tend. A perfect indoor styling effect for decorators and indoor gardeners alike. The vibrant dark green leaves of the Calathea are enhanced by the lovely creamy white feathering and purple undersides, creating a dramatic and glamorous appearance. You will be fascinated by the gentle movements of the plant's large leaves as they fold themselves up each evening.
The plant pictured is just one example of our stock, each plant may vary slightly. We will always choose the happiest and healthiest specimen for you.
This Calathea can tolerate a low light position somewhere warm but will prefer a position in bright indirect light.
Best situated in a well-drained pot. Water when the soil feels dry.
Fertilise during spring and summer with a liquid fertiliser for indoor plants.We recommend We The Wild: Grow.
