Camellia Tea Plant.
Botanical Name: Camellia sinensis.
The Tea Camellia is extensively cultivated around the world for the making of different commercial teas. They only use the top 2-3 leaves depending on which tea is being made. In the home garden, it is popular as a hedging and screening option. It has attractive small white-cream flowers, with a hint of yellow, appearing in autumn, winter and spring.
