Cherry Tree Sunburst.
Botanical Name: Prunus avium Sunburst.
A very large round to heart-shaped red fruit. A popular home garden variety as it does not need a pollinator. Used for fresh fruit, jams and preserves. Suitable to grow in cooler climates.
Plant in a warm, protected area in well-drained soil.
Best planted in winter during dormancy. Make sure you plant the bud union above the soil.
Water in well and keep moist until established.
Fertilise when planting and again when new growth appears. prune when planting.
