Ficus Ruby.
Botanical Name: Ficus elastica.
A hardy evergreen foliage plant with distinct large leaves that are dark green, splashed with white and tinges of red. An eye-catching indoor plant.
PLEASE NOTE: The decorative pot pictured is not included. The plant pictured is just one example of our stock, each plant may vary slightly. We will always choose the happiest and healthiest specimen for you.
Its unique tri-colored variegation requires brighter light conditions than the Burgundy variety to keep the colours strong and defined. Keep their soil a little moist, but not soggy. Water only when the top two inches of soil feel dry.
Rubber Plant are (mildly) poisonous to pets and humans. Many Ficus plants including F. elastica have a milky irritating sap in the stems and leaves that can cause gastrointestinal issues if eaten and skin irritation if the sap is allowed to rest on the skin for a time or gets into small cuts.
Fertilise during the warmer months. We recommend We The Wild: Grow.
