Grevillea Yamba Sunshine is a hardy evergreen large tree-shrub with fern-like green foliage and abundant large spider flowers in beautiful sunny yellow. This is a lovely Grevillea to add to your garden as it seems to be a total bird-magnet. Perfect for your native garden or rockery but also suited to many other situations and landscapes.
Planted in full sun for maximum flowering, it will also tolerate light shade.
As with most Grevillea, Yamba Sunshine will tolerate dry periods once established. Water regularly during the first 8-12 weeks until the plant is established.
Pruning after flowering will promote further flowering, dense habit and control growth. A hard prune each 3-4 years will result in a fresh flush of flowers and foliage.
Feed with a slow release native fertiliser when buds form - grevillea can be phosphorus-sensitive.
Prefers free draining soil.
