Standard Rose Father's Love™.
A superb hybrid tea, displaying deep velvety red double blooms of classic form and with centres reflecting an older world as they age. The powerful fragrance is full-bodied and fruity, a true gentleman’s blend. Sound and sturdy, this rose, with its glossy deep green foliage, has fine form and good health, making it a wonderful gift for Dad, whether Dad is husband, father, son, son-in-law, grandfather or friend.
With their tall lollipop shape, Standard roses add instant height to a border and flower at eye level.
- Water immediately after planting. Water well until established, particularly during periods of extended heat.
- Plant in Full Sun.
- Remove spent blooms. Prune back in winter, removing old and damaged wood. Shorten stems to a healthy bud to promote strong growth.
- Fertilise every Late winter to the end of autumn every 3-4 months. We recommend Harry's Rose Food.
