Standard Rose Valencia.
This rose won the 'Henry Edland' Gold Medal for Fragrance due to the large, sweetly scented blooms. Valencia has very large, exhibition-style flowers. The colouring of this rose is lovely, ranging from amber to a rich orange-gold.
With their tall lollipop shape, Standard roses add instant height to a border and flower at eye level.
- Water immediately after planting. Water well until established, particularly during periods of extended heat.
- Plant in Full Sun.
- Remove spent blooms. Prune back in winter, removing old and damaged wood. Shorten stems to a healthy bud to promote strong growth.
- Fertilise every Late winter to the end of autumn every 3-4 months. We recommend Harry's Rose Food.
