Viburnum odoratissimum, commonly known as Sweet Viburnum, is an evergreen shrub that is highly valued for its attractive features and adaptability. This versatile plant establishes quickly and is great for tall privacy screening, as it can tolerate clipping to lower heights. The glossy, dark green leaves are oval-shaped and arranged in a dense, symmetrical fashion, creating a vibrant canopy. In spring, it produces clusters of small, white flowers that emit a delightful, sweet fragrance, attracting bees and butterflies. These flowers are followed by small, red berries that gradually turn black as they ripen. Viburnum odoratissimum responds well to pruning and clipping, making it an evergreen dense hedge or shrub that is perfect for any landscape.

Grows to approximately H3-4 x W2m.
