Crepe Myrtle New Orleans.
Botanical Name: Lagerstroemia indica 'New Orleans'.
This semi-prostrate shrub produces masses of glowing, purple flowers in Summer and Autumn on a low-growing, spreading, deciduous shrub.
When mass planted Crepe Myrtle 'New Orleans' makes an effective and spectacular ground cover. If planted above a retaining wall or in a large container it spills outwards and downwards creating a stunning effect.
Full sun.
Best planted in moist well-draining soil.
It can grow to H0.6 x W0.7m
