Cornus Florida Rubra.
An attractive, deciduous, small tree or large shrub with masses of pink flower bracts during spring. The green leaves turn a beautiful orange and red colour before they fall. Quick growing when young, slowing with age. A useful plant, suitable for use in mixed shrubberies and underneath larger trees.
Approximate Height (Jan '23): 70cm
Plant in full sun to part shade.
Prefers moist, well-draining soil rich in organic matter with some protection from strong, hot, drying winds.
Mulch and water well during extended dry periods.
