DESCRIPTION

Magnolia Teddy Bear.

Botanical Name: Magnolia grandiflora.

A relatively small and compact evergreen Magnolia growing only 4-6m tall. The Teddy Bear, garnering its name from the furry brown undersides of the leaf, has become the more popular variety of magnolia due to its compact shape and larger-sized foliage. Ideal for use as a tall hedging/screen or as a specimen tree.

Approximate Height (Jan '24): 1.8m.

Plant in a full sun position in well-draining soil.
Water well during periods of extended dry heat.
Mature Size: H4-6m
