Anemone Dainty Swan.
The Anemone Dainty Swan, commonly known as a windflower, is a slow-spreading ground cover. They have white flowers with pink on the reverse of petals and dark maroon stems. They usually flower from late summer through autumn and are ideal for low-light areas. They are easy to grow and require minimal maintenance, making them perfect for planting beneath trees, under awnings, along shaded paths, and other similar locations.
Low water requirements once established - occasional long soaks during extended periods of heat is recommended.
- Prefers a rich but well-draining soil.
- No pruning is generally required other than to tidy old flower stems or leaves.
- Feed in spring with slow-release fertiliser.
- Mulch well to retain moisture during dry periods. •Frost hardy once established.
