Description
Marimo Moss Ball - Loose.
Marimo is a Japanese word that means “seaweed ball” but this is no seaweed, it’s actually a form of algae. Marimo’s can live for over 100 years if you care for them correctly. The oldest recorded Marimo is over 200 years old! Perfect as a desk pet/plant, grow in a vessel with freshwater, positioned away from direct sunlight.
These Marimo are roughly 3.5 - 4cm in diameter. It takes around 1 year to grow an additional cm.

Care
Keep moss balls in cool freshwater with indirect sunlight.
Replace water every 2 weeks or when the water looks dirty.
Lightly roll in palm of hand to reshape the ball.

Unfortunately this product isn't available for shipping. We don't ship plants, pots, furniture, or bulky and fragile items — and some products like perfumes and fertilisers can't be shipped due to transport restrictions. This item is available for in-store pickup only.
