Salvia Heatwave Blaze.
A very hardy, and easy-to-grow perennial for water-wise gardens. It produces deep red coloured flowers, with main flushes in spring and autumn. Can be grown in containers or used in wildflower-style gardens.Prefers a sunny position with moist but well-draining soil.
Watering requirements are low once established. Tolerates dryness, however, it will require deep watering over extended periods of heat.
Prune after the main flowering to encourage faster re-bloom.
In ideal conditions, it can grow to H70cm x W1m.
