Salvia Heatwave Inferno.
The HEATWAVE range takes todays gardening requirements one step further being purposely bred to retain a compact habit. The tighter foliage of the HEATWAVE salvias allows them to be a given more prominent location in a garden setting which they well deserve considering they provide colour all through the warmer months right through autumn. Foliage is evergreen and aromatic when brushed. Flushes of vibrant red flowers appear in spring and autumn with repeat displays throughout the warmer months. A fabulous bird-attracting plant.
Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny position.
Quite a drought tolerant once established and is a tough-hardy perennial.
Pinch out spent blooms to keep them blooming and encourage a dense habit.
