A small, spreading, evergreen native shrub with arching branches and tiny aromatic leaves crowded along the stem. This shrub is almost wholly covered in a mass of pink flowers in winter and spring. Like many members of the Myrtle family, the leaves contain aromatic oils. Ideal for rockeries, borders and containers. Flowers can be cut for indoor decoration.
It is easily grown in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny to semi-shaded position.
Tolerates periods of dryness.
Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.
