Spider Plant
Botanical Name: Chlorophytum comosum.
The Spider Plant has been grown indoors for decades because it’s incredibly easy to take care of. Its grass-like foliage features green and green variegation, and long aerial stems appear from the centre with smaller plantlets attached to the end. Very easily propagated by cutting and repotting the plantlets.
Happy planted in a pot with good drainage and will look its best cascading out of a hanging pot.
Water it lightly and give it bright, indirect light for best results.
Allow the plant to dry out between waterings. Water more in summer, less in winter.
Boost its growth by feeding it with liquid fertiliser once per month in spring and summer.
