Echinocactus Grusonii.
The Golden Barrel Cactus has a globe-shaped dark-green ribbed stem covered in prickly yellow spines and woollen white hairs at the crown. Tiny yellow flowers appear from the crown during Summer but this happens when the plant is 20 years old or older. Fantastic feature plant in rockery desert gardens or containers and in a well-lit indoors position.

Position in bright light indoors.
Plant in well-draining soil or cacti mix. Avoid overwatering, particularly when in containers.
