Waratah Enchanted Red.
Botanical Name: Telopea speciosissima.
The floral emblem of NSW, the enchanted red variety produces spectacular red flowers in spring. For a long time, this variety has been one of Australia's most admired flowers.This plant is great for use in low-maintenance gardens or pots. Telopea Enchanted Red has an unbelievable crispness of colours colliding together; drawing on strawberries, cherries, and ice cream in its beautiful flower display during the springtime. As the flowers evolve, flakes akin to white chocolate begin to form turning this variety into a mouth-watering feast for the eyes.
Plant in full sun to semi-shade position in well-draining acidic soil.
Tolerant of moderate frost once established.
In ideal conditions, it can grow to H3m x W1.5m.
