Hydrangea ‘Sundae Fraise’ is a compact, free-flowering hydrangea celebrated for its exceptional sun tolerance and months of changing colour. This modern variety is ideal for gardeners wanting classic hydrangea flowers in brighter positions, delivering reliable performance and strong visual impact from summer through to autumn.

Flowering abundantly, Sundae Fraise produces large blooms that open a fresh pale green before turning crisp white, then gradually maturing into soft pink tones as the season progresses. This continual colour shift creates long-lasting interest in the garden and makes it a favourite for both landscape planting and cut flower use.

Fast growing yet compact, Sundae Fraise works beautifully as a feature plant, in large containers or as a colourful focal point in entertaining areas. As a deciduous perennial shrub, it also adds seasonal interest with autumn foliage before going dormant in winter.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to part shade in moist, well-drained soil. Water at the base of the plant rather than over the foliage or flowers for best results. Feed in early spring with a slow-release fertiliser to support strong growth and flowering. Remove spent flower heads after flowering has finished to keep the plant tidy.
Caution: harmful if eaten and may cause skin or eye irritation.

Ideal for

– Large containers and outdoor entertaining areas
